IQAC
In accordance with its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) proposes that each accredited institution establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality maintenance measure. Since quality improvement is an ongoing process, the IQAC will become a part of the institution's system and work towards achieving quality improvement and maintenance objectives. The primary responsibility of the IQAC is to build a mechanism for the conscious, consistent, and catalytic development of institutions' overall performance. Consequently, during the post-accreditation phase, the institution will direct all of its efforts and actions toward promoting its comprehensive academic excellence.
