The Muslim Educational Society (MES), Thiruvithancode, was founded in 1981 by committed social workers to expand opportunities for advanced learning in Kanniyakumari district and neighbouring areas. It established Muslim Arts College in 1982 and Muslim College of Education in 2007.
The Society works for educational, social and economic advancement. Its institutions seek to share knowledge, skills and humane values while serving students irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language.
