Teacher Education at MCE
The college offers two teacher-education programmes — B.Ed. and M.Ed. — described below. Use Enquire or Apply on either programme to take the next step.
B.Ed.
The two-year, semester-based B.Ed. programme follows the curriculum of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and the applicable NCTE regulations. It combines perspectives in education, curriculum and pedagogic studies, practical work and engagement with schools.
Pedagogy subjects include English, Tamil, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, History, Commerce and Computer Science, subject to university rules and approved intake.

M.Ed.
The two-year M.Ed. programme develops advanced understanding of education, research, curriculum, educational technology and professional leadership. Field experience, reflective practice and evidence-based assessment form important parts of the programme.
