This notice explains what personal information Muslim College of Education collects through this website, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed. It is provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you use the contact, enquiry or admission-application form we collect only the details you enter: your name, contact details, and the information relevant to your request. We also record a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string to prevent automated abuse of the forms. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry or process your application. We do not sell, share or transfer this information to anyone outside the college.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are deleted after 12 months, admission enquiries after 24 months, and admission applications after 36 months. After that the record is permanently deleted.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted before the retention period ends. Write to the college at the email address on the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
This notice is a plain-language summary and not a legal document. Retention periods are reasonable defaults chosen by the college, not figures from the statute.
